I even believed I had been eating “right” all those years. Nisha came as a saviour for me when I was going through the most difficult phase health wise, I was diagnosed with PCOD in 2018 after which I started gaining weight and, then the lock down made things even worse. I suffered major hair loss and that was a trigger. On a friend's reference I reached out to Nisha and explained my problem, her diet plan was easy to follow, there was no extravagant food or supplement included. The plan included all home cooked food & some basic exercises. I managed to lose 9kgs within 2 months. Also, my weight was 59 when I started this journey. Currently I am 51 kgs, I see a huge difference in my hair and skin as well. After trying a lot of diets to lose weight with hypothyroid and psoriasis, I finally understood why my body struggled to knock off kgs from Dr Nisha. When I was explained by her how just taking thyroid medication isn't enough but adding nutrition to my meals is what will eventually help. I learnt how to add value to food I was eating instead of removing food from my diet. I stopped calorie counting and feared food. Dr Nisha is not just a nutritionist but an excellent counsellor who helped me overcome my mindset and stress issues in life along with correcting my eating habits. I ate very less fearing weight gain. Now I eat three normal meals instead of just brown rice and salads, my hunger has improved, I sleep well and feel more energy. Nisha really helped me make peace with my food and made me realize that one can enjoy food even when it's in the healthiest form. I changed from spending a Sunday morning making sizzlers to making a healthy buddha bowl for lunch and enjoying the entire process of doing so. She has been a constant support in making a healthy lifestyle a part of me rather than just a momentary passing thing. Her basic techniques have helped me plan my meals better, day better, and also improved my gut health, I have had an irritating acidic gut for the longest time and know it's all gone. I do indulge in occasional vada pavs and Chinese but I know it does dominate my food choices. I spent a 10-day vacation in Goa enjoying and exploring healthy options because of Nisha's guidance. The biggest eye-opener for me was how small changes in my routine and diet had such a big impact in my energy levels and mood. Under the guidance of Rd. Nisha, not only did I sustainably lose 9kgs of weight over 6 months, but was also able to: - Identify food items that do not suit me - Control my PMS including mood swings, bloating and spasms - Work on my mineral deficiencies - Regularize timings and quantity of food intake My biggest worry when I spoke to Nisha initially was my routine – I was not in a position to cut back work, or regularize sleep or dedicate too much time to meal prep and exercise. Not once did she ask me to change any of that and all throughout we worked around my existing schedule. I particularly enjoy her holistic approach – the common sense of Ayurveda with the practicality of modern medicine, focusing on mind, body and soul and the undivided attention to the health of the gut. First of all thank you tons Nisha. I have done diets before but they were not sustainable for a long time. Reason being firstly I had to do a lot of changes in my routine and prepare different types of meals for me. This was very difficult for me as I live in a joint family where I have to consider food options for kids as well as elderly. Now coming to the point why I consulted Nisha. I was referred to her by my mother whom she helped achieve her desirable goals healthwise. My primary concern was my low Hb levels. It had always been on the lower end but when it reached 8.8gm/dl of Hg it alarmed me. I did not want to start with iron tablets as that is not a feasible long term solution. So I decided to approach it more naturally. Nisha heard all from me and then we came to conclusion about certain issues that could be a possible problem leading to low Hb. So we started working on it. I started feeling so good as my issues like bloating, acidity, headaches all reduced drastically. In the time period of 3 months with Nisha I took iron tablets only for first month and then she asked me to discontinue them. She supplemented me with natural resources . My Hb levels came up to 10.4 by the end of 3 months. Though my initial goal was not to lose weight even though I am fat, eventually I lost 6 kgs in 3 months. It's an added advantage. Isn't it?? Now I know what to eat, how much to eat and when to eat. I am happy that Nisha cleared the concept of having only soups and salads for diet. That is a strict NO NO. I can enjoy my favorite foods along with imparting a healthy lifestyle and diet habits.Not only me, my family has also become a part of this healthy eating cycle. Now, I sleep like a baby, need no laxatives, my locks are thick and lustrous again, and you won’t believe what my skin now looks like! I’ll share my most recent picture taken just yesterday evening from our wedding anniversary celebrations (yes, hence I’m still up this hour ).I have an unmatched glow like never before! She introduced me to the concept of eating basic home made food rather than only breads which claim to be healthy but nothing is more healthy than home cooked food . I have been suffering from gas, indigestion, acidity and severe bloating for ages. A sudden weight gain in 2019 made me wonder what is really wrong with my body. I have always been too conscious of what I eat, I used to try and eat healthy as much as I could but still faced issues I could not understand. I tried everything possible that was recommended by friends and family, be it ayurvedic or allopathy or home remedies, Nothing worked! I looked and felt pretty normal in the early morning and felt completely off and different by evening. I bloated about 3 to 4 inches every single day with clothes sitting well in the morning and then there was suffocation and total discomfort by evening. This pattern was an everyday thing and eating food was no longer fun. I couldn't enjoy meals and developed a fear instead. I reached a frustration point which affected me mentally. I hated going out as my clothes would never t me the way they should, I looked pregnant even when i wasn't, I felt heavy all day and had major mood swings. Each day was getting miserable. Nisha was highly recommended by a Dr. My husband was consulting and my husband and I took up her program without a second thought. My rst session with her was on my birthday. The best gift I could give myself. She heard me out and asked me to as an experiment cut down on all sorts of gluten for a week till we had our next session and see how I felt. A week later, I deflated! no bloat and felt so much lighter. It felt good and I knew I was in good hands. I was intolerant towards gluten which was my meal everyday and I never realized how badly it was affecting me. She patiently explained the process of the body and it's connection with food. Every session was so helpful and informative, specially the label reading session, I now shop grocery wisely. Small small changes to the diet helped so much. I loved the way she changed my approach towards food. She let me connect with food in the right way all over again. I couldn't eat gluten based foods as that was bothering my system, but i had so many other delicious options instead i no longer was missing wheat and Maida. I actually love the fact that she lets you eat. She ensured I wasn't deprived of nutrition. 8 months now and nally I lost 9kgs in a healthy way that i am able to maintain, 4 inch fat loss around the abdomen, hips and waist, i went from size 34 to 30, My gut health has improved, My digestion is stronger, my bloating vanished and my inflammation has healed. I don't fear food anymore, I eat what I like mindfully and I feel absolutely great now! I would always recommend her to friends and family. Thank you so much for xing me Nisha! I was quite reluctant to go to a dietitian for weight loss as most of them have very unique and peculiar recipes. And I always found it difficult to stick to those in my schedule. But Nisha's program was quite different and I must say I was impressed with it. She focuses on own food requirements rather than the calories. The diet plan was never around how much calories I should cut down or I should in take. It was all about satisfying hunger with food that was made in my kitchen without any extra efforts. About differentiating between hunger and cravings. I highly recommend her for those who want to concentrate on the quality of food intake and look at making simple yet significant lifestyle changes with regards to food.

I had approached Nisha 6 months ago, on a friend's recommendation. Knowing that I had PCOD, broids, bloating, constant weight gain, and heavy menstrual cycles, I definitely had to approach someone who could help me long term and teach me how to keep myself in check on a daily basis. It's been a pleasure working with Nisha- she guided me for the last 6 months with proper supplements, educated me on what is right for my body, and helped me understand how losing weight does not only mean standing on a scale every day. It's been an informative journey to learn about my body and how certain food items may or may not work for me. Today, 6 months later, I do not have bloating before my periods and have managed to have a good period cycle by consuming the right food items and supplements that my body requires on a daily basis. The way she interacts is very friendly and understands every problem followed by an appropriate solution 2. The major part of the counselling session that is the mindset healing i was able to set a healthy thoughts about the junk food eat and shifting to change my habit to a healthier food choices ,cravings ,body image issue, also the pcod.My negative body image issues changed much into the positive ones rather my mindset has changed a lot regarding my body. I don't feel the need to criticise my body and i feel now that mindset is the most important change to bring any change. It is important to maintain a diary and make that diary your best friend. 3. As mentioned above, I am grateful to Nisha Salian and I have learnt a lot about the mindset of my food cravings , my negative body image issue , not measuring weight only just by weighing scale, vitamins are essential for our body a lot. I approached Nisha to address some hormonal health concerns holistically. Nisha focussed on the mind body connection and changed my perspective on looking at the problem in isolation which was the first step in the right direction. Nisha really drilled down into the nitty gritties of my diet and schedule and recommended changes most of which were small and manageable which I could easily implement. I feel significantly more energetic and period health has improved along with mood swings which I have been dealing with for a long time. My diet has changed significantly even if the modifications are small and so has my daily routine all of which is helping me to address my specific health issues but also improved my overall lifestyle!

I have been suffering from endometriosis for a very long time .The pain had crippled my life and I used to dread the day I would get my period. Through a friend in US, I got to know Nisha Salian in January. Initially I didn’t believe that diet could relieve my suffering but Nisha gave me condence otherwise. I approached Nisha for a 3 month nutrition program to revert my long standing gut issues. At the age of 55, I could barely walk, was always tired, irritated, angry and had severe mood swings. Too much leg pain and body pain and was advised by my doctor to lose weight. It's been 25 years since I have been on acidity medicines after hysterectomy, and since the past one year I was on duphalac to help constipation.After 1 month of the program I saw tremendous drop in acidity issues and I have not touched duphalac. I started my journey with Nisha almost six months ago. I've had the problem of PCOD for quite some time now and was on pills for the longest time. Unlike many nutritionists she did not not have a restrictive diet chart but rather created this entire routine/journey for me by first understanding my lifestyle and routine and trying to make small adjustments. She helped me understand myself and my body better, what suits and what doesn't for me. She helped me undergo the mindset shift by helping me develop patience and trust in the process. And today I can see the positive change that it brought to my life. I have healthy, timely cycles, I've started taking care of and understanding my body. And my plate still looks beautiful, tastes amazing and has all the right nutrients in it. When I say she cares I mean it. I was going through a lot of confusion regarding my diet and well being.Being over 40 and low metabolism after kids were piling on my fat..hence I approached Nisha after hearing a lot of good things about her healthy guidelines around diet through a friend. .Nisha's nutrition advice was not a diet ,it was a lot of tweaking your routine around the food you ate.It was amazing that eliminating a few things and adding a little bit more around what I already ate made a huge difference to my metabolism ,mood and mindset around food itself. The highlight of her nutrition advice was the ease at which I could do it without stress and also helped my family alongside. It has definitely reduced my anxiety around food. More control over my choices and happy to notice good changes in my body and mind.Nisha always touches upon how to correctly approach body image issues etc. It was an added touch.

All other sessions were very good and comfortable. I was able to share anything about my routine, physical and mental conditions. Within a month I started getting results. Due to office shift timings it was getting a little difficult to follow the routine. Still she gave me the diet which suits my work timings. I was afraid to eat poha which caused me acidity but when I started following this diet I was able to eat poha. She gave me a diverse diet and many options which I found nice. Now I know that by changing, adding some food in a diet can help us to heal. For emotional healing also she suggested writing, maintaining a journal or diary. Before taking guidance from Nisha I was having Hypothyroid, acute diarrhea, gastritis, body pain etc. issues for more than two years and for all this I have taken medication from Allopathic, Homeopathy and Ayurvedic but all was in vain. Then forcefully my family fixed my online meeting with Nisha but as I was very upset with consulting many medicine experts and having no positive sign I started with a negative attitude. After talking and guidance given by Nisha I agreed to give a last chance. In the beginning she suggested I leave wheat items, dairy items and shifted me to rice and oats. Firstly it was very difficult as I used to have just wheat chapati only and rice was very optional in my diet. So I objected by giving this plea that I have undergone many tests related to allergies but all the time reports were normal. She suggested and forced me to just follow the diet for some time so that you can see the difference and here I would like to accept that she was right as me and my family started feeling the positive change in my stomach issues. After discussing with her on my earlier reports she suggested taking some additional tests to know more about my actual condition as I have had thyroid issues for the past 18 years. The test were- Total Iron Binding Capacity Serum and Anti Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies and we were shocked to know the reports as Iron was too low just 20 and Anti TPO was too high i.e. 191. My weight was also around 88 kg. Then seeing all this and consulting Nisha I decided to follow the diet/instructions given by her. After following the diet, a little bit of exercise and medication for 3-4 months I experienced a remarkable change in my condition. I am now feeling very active, the body pain is very less or occasionally, my loose motions have stopped and gastric/digestive issues have almost been healed. My weight has also reduced and now it is 81 kg. My Iron Serum levels have increased to 195.20 and Anti TPO have reduced to 72.85 which is a drastic change and all the credit goes to Nisha. I recently had panipuri and had no gastric issues after that. Her way of guidance and knowledge about herbs and eating items are very good. I would like to thank and appreciate Nisha for all the pains she takes to satisfy/counsel her patients and develop the condence that everything is possible and anyone can attain good health.

Right from the start Nisha ma'am took time to understand every little detail of her routine, made her comfortable by starting with slight changes in her routine and then gradually increasing that. My mother also had joint and muscle pain which hindered her movement. Changes in diet along with other tips for overall well-being really improved her physical health and decreased pain. I was suffering from SI joint pain which made even basic slow walking a painful process. My pregnancy weight and fat gained after 2 pregnancies was not easy to get rid of due to fear of pain .I was skeptical when I met Dr Nisha as by then I met a lot of top diet coaches and no one seemed to understand my difficulty. I was surprised when I was told I could eat what is cooked for the family with few additions. No food was removed or made to look bad especially rice,coconut. No unnecessary supplements too. Every food item suggested was natural and used in kitchen everyday. I lost fat, got the definition of body shape and most of all I could walk 5 km in a day and walk more than 10,000 steps in a day. My pain with natural drink (pepper,ghee,hot water)from Dr gave me sleep without joint pain after 8 years. My nails,hair texture improved after right nutrition. I went to Nisha when I had severe issues with my gut health. I had inflammation and was asked to get a colonoscopy. This thought was what provoked me to take the right steps in my journey of wanting to heal my gut through food and not just medicines. Through the last 3 months, Nisha not just guided me with eating right, but also mindfulness practices. My first call with Nisha, I told her that I don't want to be thinking about weight, I can't stop thinking about calories while eating. She asked me to imagine a world without a weighing scale and how I would think of food then. I have had PCOS for a few years now since my teens and suffered from irregular periods. Plus, due to an infection I also had horrible hair loss. Nisha’s diet plan helped me with regularizing my periods without me having to rely on any hormonal birth control. The plans she created were tailored specifically for me based on updates I had for her during our weekly calls. She made sure that the diet was something I could sustainably follow with little effort. Along with my diet, she also stressed on the importance of breath work + meditation + yoga + good sleep and suggested resources to practice the same, all of which combined have brought about monumental changes in my overall health. I have not only started to consciously make better food choices, I am also more mindful and calmer as I go on about my daily life. The changes I have made in my routine are helping me focus better and be more disciplined as well. I cannot thank her enough. I consulted Nisha after my postpartum, I was experiencing a terrible knee pain when I first consulted her and very glad to say that way before the end of our course, the knee pain was gone for good. She helped me to look at things in a more healthy way and educated me on what I needed to remove and add in my everyday diet. She also made me realise that meals don't need to be complicated and difficult, it really can be fast and easy. The best part of my journey was learning and practicing mindful eating and off-course the easy and customised meal plans Nisha shared with me. I now feel I have a great system in place that I can build from. Thanks a lot Nisha for all your help, I wish more Dieticians understand the complexity of people’s relationship to food like you do!

When I signed up with Nisha a little more than a year ago, I was extremely unfit -- always fatigued, low haemoglobin, erratic thyroid function and overweight. I signed up without too much optimism, having already tried xes like keto and intermittent fasting and low-carb diets. Honestly, I expected more of the “eat less, exercise more” advice I had been getting from everyone else. Instead, during my very first call, Nisha told me that I needed to eat more -- and better. Later on, she said many of my issues could be because of bad nutrition. I still remember telling her after one month that I was eating way more than I ever had! But even as I complained about eating more -- and eating more carbs -- Nisha was guiding me to be more conscious and aware of my body and what I was putting into it. Today, I understand way more about what I eat, why I eat certain foods, and even how and when I eat. All this has happened organically; Nisha never insisted that I follow a “diet”, never pushed exotic foods and supplements. She also has been emphatic about not feeling guilty for eating some foods, encouraging a good relationship with eating. Instead, she spent hours explaining why certain foods work better for me, and what different hormones do. Today, all the problems I faced a year ago are gone; I have far better energy levels, my blood work is good and I work out regularly. I eat more than I did -- and my weight has come down. Most importantly, I have a far better understanding of food and my body. I don’t have enough words to thank Nisha for giving me back my health -- and giving me the confidence to be able to stay healthy.
